Columbia Zoo Riverbanks Zoo. One of the top ten Zoo's in the U.S.
Hilton Head, SC Beaches Golf may be king, tennis, shopping and the beach compete for the queen’s throne. There are over 300 tennis courts, and for every court, there’s probably an outlet store bustling with golf widows. Finally, the beach — 12 miles of Hilton Head sits on the calm Atlantic shore.
Atlanta, GA Little Five Points. A popular spot for people-watching, Little Five is a shopping district -- complete with bars, unique clothing stores and restaurants -- where it's not uncommon to see someone with bright pink hair walking alongside a nicely dressed professional. The part of the city where the rich and the beautiful shop, party and live, is Buckhead, which has often been referred to as the Beverly Hills of the South. Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza, two of Atlanta's most-frequented shopping malls, are located in the heart of Buckhead, Two popular attractions that showcase their contributions to the city are the World of Coca-Cola Museum, where you can taste Coke from around the world, and CNN Center, where you can shop, watch news in the making, and even participate in a live broadcast. The arts are also well represented throughout Atlanta. The High Museum is one of the city's most popular attractions for art lovers and it hosts traveling exhibits featuring renowned artists, as well as an impressive collection of works year round. You’ll also find a wealth of galleries throughout the city displaying works by both local and national artists. One of the most impressive pieces of art in the city can be found at the Atlanta Cyclorama. Atlanta is home of the National Football League's Atlanta Falcons, The National Basketball Association's Atlanta Hawks, Major League Baseball's Atlanta Braves and the recently formed Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League. There are many more recreational outlets in Atlanta, these are just a few to mention.
