PERMITS, INSURANCE & INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT
There are no Impact Fees in Columbia County. The County
provides one-stop permitting through the office of Building Inspections
and Permitting. The turnaround time for permitting typically involves
a two-week period: however this depends on the size and nature of
the project. Prior to building plan review, the following documents
must be submitted:
- Two sets of plans (one set to be kept on the job)
- Water/Sewer tap fees paid
- Approved site plan by Planning and Zoning
- Permit Application
