Upcoming Job Fairs at Augusta State University

The ASU Career Center will be hosting 2 job fairs in early 2003. Employer Expo, a job fair exclusively for ASU students and alumni will be hosted on Friday, February 14 on the ASU campus. Employers can contact the Career Center at 706-737-1604 for registration information.

Space is limited and there is usually a waiting list, so make your booth reservations NOW!

A job fair for teachers or education majors seeking a school district or grade level change in the new academic year are encouraged to attend the Teacher Job Fair on the ASU campus on January 31. This is open to the public for certified teachers and education students only.

School systems interested in attending can contact the Career Center at 737-1604 for registration information. School systems from the area, the Southeast and beyond will be participating.


“Martian Towers” Exhibit Lands At Fort Discovery!

The National Science Center’s Fort Discovery is pleased to announce the opening of MARTIAN TOWERS, a 22-foot-tall, space-themed climbing structure that will become the centerpiece of the science center’s grand foyer. The permanent exhibit will occupy a 290 square-foot area immediately inside Fort Discovery’s main entry doors and will rise skyward past the building’s second floor. MARTIAN TOWERS is a full body, interactive exhibit designed for younger visitors. It will feature numerous climbing and interactive play areas throughout its multiple levels.
