Wayne Griffin and Karla McCormack of CSRA Federal Credit Union assisted the Medical College of Georgia with the 2002 CMN Telethon held on Sunday, June 2, 2002.

Jenny Bennett, Bradley Dyer and Joan Jenkins, all of CSRA Federal Credit Union, volunteered to help build Virginia1s Playground during the weekend of June 1, 2002. Virginia1s Playground is a universal playground that allows both fully able and disabled children to play side by side.

In an ongoing partnership with the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art, the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce is displaying the work of local artists in its second lever atrium.

Currently on display are Australian Dot Paintings by local Augusta artist, Amy Bliven Shadden. The design is a collection of Fourth grade students art work. Ms. Shadden created this design so that each students dot painting would become part of this large scale design of free form and concentric shapes.
